KATHMANDU, June 20: Meetings of both the houses under the federal parliament are being held today. The meetings are scheduled to begin at 1 PM.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand will present clause-wise discussions of the first amendment bill of Nepal Police and Provincial Police, 2022 (Operation, Supervision and Coordination). Similarly, the Parliament Secretariat has stated that the amendments received after discussing the Finance Bill 2022 will be presented for decision.
Parliament’s both houses holding meetings today
In the meeting, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma is scheduled to present the Finance Bill 2022 for the house to pass. Minister Sharma has an agenda to present the Bill Designed to Recover Public Debt 2022 for discussion. Similarly, various titles of the Appropriation Bill 2022 of six ministries will be discussed in the meeting of the National Assembly.
Similarly, Kamala Kumari Dahal will propose reducing the expenditure of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens under the Appropriation Bill 2022 to one rupee.
