The high court issued the interim order in response to a case filed by the Nepal Rugby Association.

General Secretary of the NOC Nilendra Shrestha told Republica that the agenda will not be discussed in the general assembly if the official correspondence of the court’s order reaches the NOC before the assembly.

“If we receive an official letter from the court directing us to not discuss the agenda of the amendment of the NOC’s statute, then the general assembly will unconditionally step back from the discussion on the agenda,” Shrestha said.
