Govt to confiscate corruption-linked assets

According to the ministry, the work of confiscating houses and properties located in various places in the Kathmandu Valley has been carried out in the names of former administrators and current employees and their families, including Ramagya Prasad Chaturvedi, Murari Bahadur Karki, Kesharjung Khadka, Amonanda Mishra, Saraswati Dhungana.

KATHMANDU, March 17: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has directed subordinate agencies to seize and return assets acquired through corruption to the government. He has specifically instructed the confiscation of houses and properties ordered by the Supreme Court (SC). The ministry has confirmed that the confiscation process is underway, following the minister's orders.
