The deceased has been identified as Santa Bahadur Gurung, 15, an eighth grader of Prastavit Secondary School.
The truck (Ba 1 Kha 9003) carrying vegetable from Darechowk to Phisling fell off a fair weather road at 10 a.m. Apart from vegetables, the truck was carrying mostly school children.
Of the injured, the situation of four is reportedly critical. The injured have been taken to Bharatpur for treatment, police said.
