PALPA, Dec 22: One person died in a tipper accident in Palpa. Two people were injured.
30-year-old Bishnu Dhakal of Ribdikot Rural Municipality-3 of Palpa died when the tipper (Ra 1 Kha 2404) met with an accident at Ribdikot Rural Municipality-2 at Laguwa around 8:30 PM on Thursday. Sugandh Shrestha, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Palpa, said that the doctor declared him dead when he was taken to the hospital for treatment. HE was seriously injured in the accident.
One died and four injured in tripper accident
32-year-old Yamraj Pun of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-12 of Dang and Himal Gharti of Triveni Rural Municipality-5 of Rolpa were seriously injured in the accident. Police said that the injured are being treated at United Mission Hospital Tansen.
According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the tipper with four passengers including the driver fell down about 150 meters from the road. As the driver of the tipper is safe, the police said that they have arrested him and are continuing further investigation.
