KATHMANDU, Dec 6: One person has been arrested from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in connection with the embezzlement of funds from Suryadarshan Cooperative in Pokhara.
The arrested accused has been identified as Krishna Gurung, an ordinary member of Suryadarshan Cooperative.

Police said that Gurung, who lives in Pokhara, was arrested from the airport in Kathmandu on Thursday, while he was attempting to leave the country for Qatar. Following his arrest, he was taken to Pokhara for further action.
Police said that since an arrest warrant has already been issued against him, he will be submitted to the District Government Attorney’s Office, Kaski, on Friday.
