Sharing her experience on the topic, Saw J Nah says, “Young love is that feeling when someone loves you for the first time, except your parents and you don’t want to leave his company and just want to be with him.”[break]
True, and that’s probably the case for many lovers. But Tsuyog Pradhan says that young love is the feeling that’s mostly influenced by other factors. He says, “The influences from movies and surroundings make people wonder a lot and that’s what young love is all about. Not often are they committed really, are they?”
However, Yogesh Kumar Prasai is of the thought that there’s nothing like young love or old love. He simply puts, “Love just happens. The only difference is that some fall early in it while some fall late. Love is a feeling which isn’t perceptual or definable. It’s rather inevitable, though people nowadays are often confused to decide if they are really in love or not.”
Also, Shailesh Shrestha thinks that young or old, love is love and there’s no difference. But when young lovers grow up, their goals in life change and that might be an obstacle of some sort for them.
“That’s why I think they separate and then tag it as infatuation, which I think isn’t fair,” he says, adding, “Young love is much more true and passionate than older ones, I think, because young minds aren’t corrupted.”
Anamika Malla simply puts that whether it’s young or grown-up love, it’s a wonderful feeling being in love and being loved back in return, and that one should cherish the moments.
