NOC contributes Rs 500 million to coronavirus control fund

KATHMANDU, April 2: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has provided Rs 500 million to the fund established by the government to fight against COVID-19.

The corporation board meeting held today decided to extend the support. According to the NOC spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyay, the NOC today handed over the cheque to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.


The emergency fund was established by the government for the prevention and control of the possible outbreak of deadly COVID-19. The fund is getting continuous support from the various sectors.
