KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is preparing to form a small-sized cabinet today. The interim council of ministers will be expanded in consultation with Gen-Z representatives, according to sources.
Karki held discussions with close aides on Saturday evening regarding potential appointments. Legal expert Om Prakash Aryal is almost confirmed as a minister, while several other names have surfaced in public discussions.

Among those being talked about are former Supreme Court Justice Anandamohan Bhattarai, former Nepal Army Lieutenant General Balananda Sharma, Asika Tamang, Gen-Z activist Sudan Gurung, Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang, scientist Mahabir Pun, singer Rajesh Payal Rai, Nepal Mountaineering Association President Phur Gyalje Sherpa, businessman Asim Jung Basnet, former Colonel Madhav Sundar Khadka, former DIG Ramesh Kharel, and former Nepal Electricity Authority chief Kulman Ghising.
