KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday fell 15.70 points to close at 2,111.68 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,127.37 points and went to the day’s high at 2,136.15 points. In the next moment, the index dipped as low as 2,108.32 points before the market closed for the day.

The daily turnover fell to Rs 2.824 billion from Rs 3.30 billion on Monday.
In the intraday trading, 148 companies lost in their market value whereas 57 companies were the gainers. The sensitive index that measures the performance of blue chip companies dropped 2.36 points.
Out of the 13 trading groups, only the hydropower index rose 0.60 points. Of the losers, life insurance index dropped the highest value of 132.38 points. .
Among individual companies, Ridi Power Company had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 192.054 million. Prime Life Insurance Company was the biggest loser, while Adarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha gained the highest percent of its market value.
