KATHMANDU, June 11: Nepal recorded 3,750 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday along with 5,225 recoveries and 67 deaths.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 9,598 PCR tests and 5,584 antigen tests were conducted today. Of them, 2,709 PCR tests and 1,041 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has surged to 623,151 including 520,816 recoveries and 8,305 deaths.

There are currently 69,686 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 5,589 in institutional isolation, 1,189 in ICUs and 366 on ventilators.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,201 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. Of them, 921 were detected in Kathmandu, 117 in Bhaktapur and 163 in Lalitpur districts.
