KATHMANDU, March 20: Nepal recorded 37 new cases of COVID-19 along with 382 recoveries and zero death from the deadly virus on Sunday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,061 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 28 PCR and nine antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.
Nepal records 382 new cases, 252 recoveries on Saturday
There are currently 3,273 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 3,183 are in self-isolation, 58 in institutional isolation, 27 in ICUs and five on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,950 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu Valley recorded only 12 cases of COVID-19 on the day. These include 10 cases in Kathmandu and two cases in Bhaktapur district.
