Nepal grouped with Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Bhutan in SAG

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: Nepal has been drawn in Group ‘B’ of the South Asian Games to be held in India with Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Bhutan.

India, Maldives and Sri Lanka have been placed in Group ‘A’.

Nepal will play its first match against Bangladesh on February 7, followed by matches against Bhutan on February 9 and will meet Afghanistan two days later.

Top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals scheduled to take place on February 13. The final and the third place play-off are slated for February 15.
