KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a power outage in various areas of Lalitpur today. In a public notice, NEA stated that it would disrupt the electricity supply in different locations under the Pulchowk Distribution Center's Patan feeder.
According to NEA, it will disconnect power from 12 PM to 2 PM in areas including Bhanimandal, Ekantakuna, Lamachaur, Summit Hotel, Bakhundol, Old Ministers’ Quarters in Pulchowk, Samjhi Khel, and Arun Thapa Chowk. The authority said it needs to carry out technical work at the Patan 132 kV substation, which requires the outage.

NEA apologized for the inconvenience and assured that it would complete the scheduled work ahead of time to restore power as soon as possible.
