KATHMANDU, March 21: The weather is expected to be somewhat bad from tonight until Sunday evening. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the Himalayan regions across the country starting tonight.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), there is a possibility of light rain along with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly regions across the country, as well as the Terai region of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
Bad weather cancels 61 flights
On March 21, there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in the hilly and Terai regions of these three provinces, as well as in a few places in the Madhesh province.
Similarly, on March 22, there is also a chance of snowfall in a few places in the Himalayan regions across the country. The DHM has also stated that light rain may occur in some places in both the hills and Terai regions.
