KATHMANDU, Oct 14: Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan has said that the country should have only two political parties i.e. Nepali Congress and communist party to make the country prosperous.

At a greetings exchange programme organized by Nagarik Sarokar Samaj, Pradhan said that instability would end in the country if the political parties having same political ideologies and programmes unite. He also said that regional, ethnic and other fringe political parties too should unite.
He also claimed that the alliance of left political parties would cause no harms to the NC.
On a separate context, Minister Pradhan said that he would contest the upcoming parliamentary polls from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6. (RSS)
