Paleti singers Suraj and Meena presented some of his creations musically accompanied by musical instruments like violin, harmonium, flute, madal, guitar and tabala.
Ghimire was taken to the stage by Amrit Gurung, the front man of Nepathya. When asked to share about how he was feeling, the nonagenarian poet shared, “Listening to my creations being performed by such talented artists was bliss. I am really glad to hear the harmonious music.”
The Paleti Utsav will continue for two days where renowned artists like Dawa Gyalmo and Daisy Baraili will perform together and sing their famous duets. Audiences can enjoy their hits, ‘Banki chari’ and ‘Mayalule Samjhe Ki Kaso’. The concluding Paleti on September 1 will host singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan who will be performing solo.
