The mega expo is being held at the Exhibition Hall, Bhrikuti Mandap, with an aim to cater to the needs of consumers under a single roof ahead of the festive season.

Madhu Shree Sharma, of Tricot Industries, which is one of the exhibitors at the expo, said, "We are very happy with the business. We have made more than Rs 100,000 today," She is selling various tricot fabric attires such as sweater, tops, caps and mufflers, targeting upcoming winter season.
Similarly, Sabah Nepal attire stall, which is exhibiting environment friendly kurtis, scarfs, shawls and other ladies´ items is also attracting a large numbers of visitors.
One of the employees at the Sabah Nepal stall said, "As all these clothing materials are made in Nepal, visitors are giving good response."
According to her, though exact figure of transaction is not measured yet, they are having good business.
The four-day long expo is jointly organized by Nepal Republic Media (NRM) and Avid Investment and Services (AIS).
The fair teems with 46 stalls and 26 pavilions of companies dealing on apparels, cosmetics and ornaments, furniture, automobiles, electronic gadgets, and liquor, among others.
Till Saturday two entertainment events were held in the Mahamela.
On Friday, popular folk singers such as Nisha Sunar, Badri Pangeni, Bimal Dangi and others performed on the stage while comedians such as Jeetu Nepal, Deviram Parajuli, Rabi Dangol and others entertained the crowd.
On Saturday, popular Indian singer Lucky Ali had performed on the stage attracted a huge audience.
Samsung smart phone and Ruslan vodka jointly sponsored the event.
