The afternoon musical treat began with the lead singer of Mangolian Hearts, Raju Lama, presenting his popular songs one after another. As the singer crooned songs like Parkhai Ma, Tato Pani, Halla Chalecha, Timi Lai Dekhera and Natanu Ta Tanu Lagne, those in the audience also sang along with him. Despite the rain, the audience stayed to keep Lama company till he bid the crowd farewell with his last presentation Sayad Timro Batoma.[break]
Renowned Indian singer Lucky Ali and his band stepped onto the stage next, wearing Nepali Dhaka topis. Ali began his performance by singing Saanjha Bihan… translated from his famous song Shaam Savere. This was followed by his other well known songs Aa Bhi Jaa, Ek Pal Ka Jina, Kyun Chalti Hey Pawan and Gori Teri.
The crowd gathered to watch his performance seemed to enjoy Ali’s show. This is the singer’s fourth visit to the country.
