On the occasion, writer Mishra shared that the issues of constitutional monarchy, scrapping of federalism, declaration of Nepal as a Hindu-Buddhist nation and adoption of welfare democracy, also known as social democracy, have become very crucial for the country and that he has discussed the same in the book. “These issues are of far-reaching importance for the country,” he said.

Similarly, former Deputy Prime Minister and General-Secretary of CPN (ML), Mainali said the book has given a new ideology about democratic movements. The book has proposed that Nepal change its current political path, he opined.

Terming the book as a political manifesto, former minister Gyawali said it is a reference material for everyone including politicians, students of politics and political researchers.

The book would be significant at a time when the main ruling party, the Nepali Congress, has not been able to hold its policy convention even if it was said that the policy convention would be held within six months after its general convention.

Likewise, journalist Rama Singh, proprietor of the Fine Print, Niraj Bhari, among others shed light on the content of the book.

The book is priced at Rs 450.
