KATHMANDU, June 6: Preparations are underway to airlift Minister for Population and Environment, Bishwendra Paswan to New Delhi, India for further treatment.
Minister Paswan is being treated at the Mahrajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hosipital (TUTH) for ailments related to his pancreas.
Expecting mother airlifted to safety
He was admitted at TUTH some five days ago after he complained of indigestion where he was diagnosed with a swollen pancreas.
Personal Secretary to Minister Paswan, Roshan Paswan told Republica Online that the ailing minister will be airlifted to the Medanta Hospital, Haryana.
“Arrival of an air ambulance has been delayed to due to poor visibility here,” he said.
According to him, a team doctors attending the minister will also leave for India.
Doctors attending Minister Paswan said that he has been infected with pneumonia too.
