Kathmandu, Nov 21: As the winter sets in the Kathmandu Valley mercury is going down by the day.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature in the valley fell to 9°C at 8.54 on Thursday morning.

On Wednesday (November 20), the minimum temperature of the valley was 9.2°C while it was 9.9°C on November 19. Similarly, on November 18, the minimum temperature of the valley was 10.5 degrees Celsius.
