DANG, Jan 13: CPN (Maoist Center) leader and House of Representatives member from Dang constituency no. 2, Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said the guarantee of basic facilities such as education, health, drinking water and transport for the entire people of his constituency was his first priority and goal as the member in the federal parliament.
Leader Mahara who reached Bangalachuli, the part of Dang constituency-2, Saturday to thank his voters said this in his address to a welcome programme organized by the locals for him.
Municipalities without facilities
He pledged to formulate a master plan for the development of all 27 wards in his constituency and implement it.
Mahara was of the view of improving the living standard of the rural people first to bring change in the society, adding that his main responsibility was to serve the people and the nation.
On a different note, he said a new government would be formed shortly after the National Assembly election scheduled for February 7. RSS
