Kuwaiti Dinar at highest, Thai Baht at lowest in NRB's latest exchange rates

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for Thursday. The bank has fixed the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 135.63 and the selling rate at Rs 136.23.

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for Thursday. The bank has fixed the buying rate for one US dollar at Rs 135.63 and the selling rate at Rs 136.23. 


Likewise, one euro can be bought at Rs 142.42 and sold at Rs 143.05. The buying rate for one British pound is Rs 172.45, and the selling rate is Rs 173.22. The bank has set the buying rate for one Swiss Franc at Rs 151.74 and the selling rate at Rs 152.41.


The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 85.63 and the selling rate is Rs 86.01. The bank has fixed the buying rate for one Canadian dollar at Rs 94.69 and the selling rate at Rs 95.11. The bank has set the buying rate for one Singapore dollar at Rs 100.41 and the selling rate at Rs 100.86.

NRB has set the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen at Rs 8.83 and the selling rate at Rs 8.87. It has fixed the buying rate for one Chinese Yuan at Rs 18.62 and the selling rate at Rs 18.70. The bank has set the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 36.10 and the selling rate at Rs 36.26. The buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.20 and the selling rate is Rs 37.37.


The central bank has set the buying rate for one Thai baht  Rs 3.97 and the selling rate at Rs 3.98. It has fixed the buying rate for one UAE dirham at Rs 36.93 and the selling rate at Rs 37.09. The bank has set the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit at Rs 30.34 and the selling rate at Rs 30.48. The buying rate for one South Korean Won is Rs 9.44 and the selling rate is Rs 9.48. The bank has adjusted the buying rate for one Swedish krona at Rs 12.39 and the selling rate at Rs 12.44. The buying rate for one Danish Krone is Rs 19.09 and the selling rate is Rs 19.17.


The central bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.45 and the selling rate at Rs 17.53. It has fixed the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 440.99 and the selling rate at Rs 442.42. The bank has set the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at Rs 352.29 and the selling rate at Rs 353.84. It has set the buying rate for one Omani rial at Rs 353.29 and the selling rate at Rs 353.84. The buying rate for one Indian Rupee is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.


The central bank has stated that it may revise this exchange rate at any time as needed. It has also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the NRB's website.
