Japanese Vice-Minister Horii arriving Nepal to observe polls

KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Iwao Horii, is arriving in Nepal as the head of the Japanese observation team for the second phase of the parliamentary and provincial elections to be held on December 7.

KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Iwao Horii, is arriving in Nepal as the head of the Japanese observation team for the second phase of the parliamentary and provincial elections to be held on December 7.

According to a press statement issued by the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu, Vice Minister Horri will call on President Bidya Bhandari, Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav and hold interaction with international observers, diplomatic community and development partners in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The Japanese vice minister shall visit several selected polling stations to observe election on Thursday. He will return back on Friday.
