PM Dahal meets IFAD President

KATHMANDU, July 25: President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Alvaro Liro, has met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal who is in Italy for a visit.  

During the meeting, they reviewed the relationship between IFAD and Nepal, and various projects conducted by IFAD in Nepal. Various projects are being run in the agricultural sector of Nepal with the support of IFAD.

IFAD has been providing financial support to the development of the agricultural sector to alleviate poverty and end hunger in developing countries. Nepal has been a member country of IFAD since 1978.
