KATHMANDU, Aug 23: The suspended General Secretary of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Dr Mukul Dhakal has claimed that he can prove that “RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is a criminal.”

Dhakal made the claim in a statement he issued in response to a final clarification sought from him on why he should not be removed from the party’s general membership.

"I can prove that you, Rabi Lamichhane, are a fraud, corrupt, and a criminal who has misused passports. You are daring to take action against me- if you can, prove me wrong. Exposing your misdeeds is not an act against the party; it is in the party's best interest."

Dr Dhakal also claimed that he will free the party from Lamichhane.
