Covestro India Pvt Ltd started a joint initiative in collaboration with DWSS to support the Government of Nepal to construct the toilet with the latest technology and improve the access of sanitation facility in Nepal. GUTHI is the implementation partners for this initiation.
KMC identifies places to construct public toilets
According to the press statement published by GUTHI, this initiative has successfully constructed 50 IHHL (Individual Household Laterine), 3 community and 2 school toilets in Nepal at Nala, Dhuilkhel, Kalimati, Kirtipur, Lakshminiya, Bardiwas and Pulkah. The toilets are constructed using Covestro’s latest innovative technology. It facilitates speedy construction, easy maintenance and handling and is affordable. They have a life span of 40 years, are attractive, durable, strong and eco-friendly.
Guthi further states that future collaboration with the Government and NGOs to execute similar projects.
