Govt to revise health policy: Minister

KAWASOTI, Oct 13: Minister for Health and Population Rajendra Mahato has said the government was about to revise the existing twenty-year-old health policy since it could not ensure people´s right to basic health facilities.



Opening a new building of Ayurvedic Hospital at Kushma VDC in Nawalparasi district on Saturday, the Health Minister said the government has a plan of establishing Ayurvedic pharmacies in 90 different places in the country in the near future.



The government was working as per its target of providing basic health facilities to the people in remote areas, he said.



Director General of the Ayurved Directorate, Ramnarayan Saha, said utility of Ayurvedic medicine has increased in present context.
