Govt blacklists 12 companies

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: The government has blacklisted 12 construction companies. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), under the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, blacklisted these 12 companies based on written recommendations from various public bodies.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: The government has blacklisted 12 construction companies. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO), under the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, blacklisted these 12 companies based on written recommendations from various public bodies.


These companies have been blacklisted for periods ranging from one to three years. During the blacklisting period, these companies are not permitted to participate in any procurement processes of public bodies.

Adarsh Construction Golbazar,  Siraha has been blacklisted for three years, and the principal figure associated with this company is Saroj Kumar Shah.


Similarly, Triveni Construction Services Pokhara, owned by Laxman Pandey, and Gangotri Devi Construction Services, Nepalgunj, owned by Bam Bahadur Kurmi, have also been blacklisted for two years each.
