KATHMANDU, Sep 5: A total of 13 companies have been blacklisted by the government, according to the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) under the Office of the Prime Minister. The duration of blacklisting varies for the companies, with three of them receiving a three-year ban, two companies facing two-year ban, two others facing a one-and-a-half-year suspension, and seven others facing a one-year prohibition.
The blacklisted companies will be ineligible to participate in any public procurement process starting from the date of the notice's publication on September 5, 2023, and throughout the entire blacklisting period.
Among the most severely affected, Ganpati Construction Kanchanpur, led by Ganesh Singh Saud and Keshar Bahadur Saud, along with Fakat Engineering and Infrastructure Mumbai, headed by Pravin Brahmadev Pandey (main person) and Subhas Shrestha (official person), face a three-year blacklisting. Likewise, Joshi Wiz House Pvt Ltd, led by Binit Joshi, has also been banned for three years.
PPMO blacklists 12 companies
Shivalaya Builders Pvt Ltd Makwanpur, under the leadership of Nirman Neupane and Roshan Khadka, and Aagya & Company Pvt Ltd Biratnagar, led by Peshal Acharya, have been blacklisted for two years.
Chulidanda Construction Service, located in Swayambhu, Kathmandu, and led by Indra Bahadur Shah Thakuri, will face a one and a half years ban, according to the list issued by the PPMO today.
Additionally, Epic Computers Traders Kathmandu, under the leadership of Malin Pant, and Makar Ganesh Construction Pvt Ltd Kathmandu, led by Bijendas Shrestha, along with Baba Infra Project Pvt Ellis Construction and Suppliers Teku, all situated in Kathmandu, will be blacklisted for one year.
Putlikath Construction Services Pvt Ltd Dolakha, led by Mohan Bahadur Tamang, and Arabindra Construction Bharatpur Chitwan, headed by Hemraj Basyal, will also be blacklisted for one year.
