Gold price drops Rs 2,900; Tuesday price is fixed at Rs 237,000 per tola

Gold price continues to rally downward in the domestic market, with a drop of Rs 2,900 per tola on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: Gold price continues to rally downward in the domestic market, with a drop of Rs 2,900 per tola on Tuesday.



The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of gold at Rs 237,000 for today, down from Rs 239,900 per tola on Monday. The gold price has been in a downward trend for the past week in the global market.

On Monday, the price of precious yellow metal declined three percent in an ounce in the global market. After Tihar, the price of gold has dropped by Rs 16,500 in the Nepali market.


Likewise, the price of silver has also gone down by Rs 60 per tola. At the new price, the silver price stands at Rs 2,920 per tola.
