Girl rescued from the confines of her home

MALEKHU (DHADING), April 8: A six – year – old girl has been admitted to the rehabilitation centre after being confined in her house since losing consciousness during the massive earthquake two years ago.

MALEKHU (DHADING), April 8: A six – year – old girl has been admitted to the rehabilitation centre after being confined in her house since losing consciousness during the massive earthquake two years ago.



Following a news story from National News Agency (RSS), which was published on March 14, UNICEF took the initiative to rescue Bandana Kumal from her house located at the then Salyantar VDC – 7.



Under the coordination of the District Child Welfare Committee and support of the UNICEF, the Integrated Community Development Society (ICDS), Dhading rescued the girl and admitted her to the rehab, Tirupati Pariyar said.



She has been sent to the Mental Health and Psychosocial Centre run by Kosish, an NGO based at Bagdole of Lalitpur district. RSS
