Gandaki CM assures budget for SAG

POKHARA , Nov 22: Chief Minster for the Gandaki Province Prithivi Subbha Gurung inspected the Pokhara Stadium on Thursday.


After examining the stadium which is being constructed for the upcoming 13th South Asian Games (SAG), Gurung assured that a certain amount of budget for the infrastructure development at the stadium could be allocated immediately through a cabinet meeting.

“If  there is not enough fund to run the SAG, then we will allocate the budget as soon as possible. The games is a matter of pride for the Gandaki province,’’ said Gurung. Stating that everyone should help to conclude the SAG successfully, Minister Gurung met with the oraginizing committee’s officials to gather information about the under-construction Pokhara Stadium, which will include a football ground , a cricket ground , and a multi-puroposed covered hall for games like archery and badminton.


Along with Gurung, Minister for Social Development Nar Devi Pun, 13th SAG committee officials and other sports officials inspected the stadium.
