Flood obstructs Pasang Lhamu Highway

TRISHULI (NUWAKOT) Aug 7: Pasang Lhamu Highway has been closed for the past five days due to continuous rainfall, leading to obstruction at Trishuli-Dhunche road of the highway.This has put thousands of passengers including pilgrims returning from Gosainkunda in difficulty.



According to Divisional Road Office, Nuwakot, Trishuli-Dhunche road was obstructed since Monday after the when the flood from Ramche and Mulakharka inundated the road.



According to Bhim Poudel, a local restaurateur, there is shortage of food, fuel and vegetables among other essentials due to the obstruction.
