The Rasuwa folks have not been able to travel conveniently due to the inoperative Highway while the passengers traveling to and from Rasuwa have been suffering due to this.

Landslides obstructs Pasang Lhamu highway
Similarly, the export of the food items, vegetables and dairy products to the district have been stopped due to the obstructed Highway, shared Gopi Neupane, a local trader.
The landslide has buried some 100 meters of road and it continues to occur due to water that flows to the landslide site from the farms above.
According to Nuwakot Police Chief, efforts were made to divert the water falling to the landslide sites but to no avail.
On top of this, heavy vehicles could not be driven to Rasuwa as the alternative road at Manakamana along the Trishuli-Tupche-Manakamana-Pairebeshi road section is also obstructed due to the landslide.
Four excavators have been mobilized to clear the debris of landslides while the attention of the concerned bodies has been drawn towards relocation of around 50 households at Gauri Kharka in Bidur Municipality-10 in the district that was at high risk of the landslide to safety, shared Ward No -10 Chairperson, Ganesh Kumar Nepal.
