KATHMANDU, Sept 11: Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle has appointed Bishwo Parajuli as his honorary adviser on humanitarian affairs.
Parajuli was appointed for a short term ending in mid-December (end of Mangsir) through a ministerial decision taken on September 9.
No formal directive to recall Neupane and Dhakal: Parajuli
According to the Finance Ministry, Parajuli has been appointed to support the ministry’s humanitarian work in the aftermath of the Bhotekoshi flood.
Parajuli’s extensive experience with the United Nations is expected to contribute to Nepal’s post-disaster humanitarian relief and recovery efforts. His expertise in disaster risk reduction and management is also expected to help strengthen the ministry’s humanitarian response.
