Film South Asia 2011 calls for entries

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: If documentary is your form of expression than here’s your chance to screen your creativity for the world to see. Film South Asia (FSA), the biennial festival of South Asian documentaries is now calling for entries.



Organized for the last 12 years, the festival provides a platform for non-fiction filmmakers across South Asia. It can be about any subject such as people, culture, lifestyle, adventure, development, environment, politics, education and history.



The eighth edition of the festival is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from 29 September to



2 October, 2011. The documentaries will have to be made in, or after January 2009 in order to be selected in the competitive section.



The early submission deadline for films made between January 2009 to April 2010 is 31 May, 2011; and the submission deadline for films made after April 2010 is 30 June, 2011.
