Ex-Princess Prerana hospitalized

KATHMANDU, April 8: Former Princess and daughter of former King Gyanendra Shah, Prerana Singh has been hospitalized on Friday morning after suffering from brain stroke.

KATHMANDU, April 8: Former Princess and daughter of former King Gyanendra Shah, Prerana Singh has been hospitalized on Friday morning after suffering from brain stroke.


Singh is receiving the treatment at Thapathali based Norvic Hopital. According to the source, the blood has been clot in her brain and is undergoing medication in the hospital.

Her condition is said to be stable and she is responding to the medicine prescribed by the medical team led by Dr. Bharat Jalan. The hospital source has said that the doctors are observing her condition admitting her to ICU as they are trying to avoid any surgery as she is responding to the medicine.


However, no any official statement has been issued by the hospital and by the family.


Former King Gyanendra has visited the hospital to know about the condition of his daughter. Other members of former royal family are also at the hospital to know about the health of former Princess Singh.
