Elect me as party head, I will end party disputes: Deuba

DANG, Jan 18: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked the cadres to lend him support in the coming General Convention to end the intra-party disputes on Monday.

Leader Deuba has appealed the party cadres to support him for one more time for the party unification, saying that the party has currently been beset with groupism and factions.


Speaking at the closing ceremony of the two-day cadres orientation program organized by the Nepali Congress Central Policy and Orientation Academy in Gorahi today, leader Deuba said, "Our party, as you say, has been mired into groups and factions, if you elect me as the party president in the upcoming general election, I will end the disputes once and for all."

The country will get a political outlet only when the NC becomes inclusive, Deuba said underlining the need to make the party inclusive.

NC central members Bimalendra Nidhi, Prakash Sharan Mahat and Mahendra Yadav had urged the cadres to support Deuba on the occasion.
