KATHMANDU, March 7: Toshima Karki of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Lalitpur Constituency-3.
As per the final results of the Election Commission announced on Saturday evening Karki won securing 43,069 votes. This is the second time that Karki, who is the medical doctor, has won for the lawmaker from the same constituency.
Power of Literature
This time the RSP’s Karki got 12,000 more votes compared to the HoR election of 2022. Jitendra Shrestha of Nepali Congress got 9,045 votes Rajkaji Maharjan of Nepali Communist Party got 6,022 votes.
