KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The Election Commission (EC) has published the voter list for the presidential election to be held on March 9. The Office of the President and Vice President Election Officer located in the Federal Parliament, Baneshwar, released the voter list earlier today. The names of 881 people have been published in the final list published by the EC.
It includes the names of 331 members of the federal parliament and 550 members of the provincial assemblies. Federal parliamentarians and provincial assembly members can participate in the presidential election. The deadline for complaints against the published voter list is 12 noon tomorrow. The applications and complaints received by that time will be scrutinized till 3 o'clock on February 24 and the final list will be published at 4 o'clock the same day.

According to the election schedule, nominations for the post of president will be registered on February 25 and the election will be held on March 9. President Bidya Devi Bhandari's term ends on March 12.
