Indra Bahadur Angwo, the leader of the parliamentary party of the CPN-Maoist Center, expressed his view that the CM should seek a vote of confidence within 30 days if he finds himself in the minority. Otherwise, he should step down. Angwo clarified that there is no provision stating that a government formed under clause 5 of 168 is permanent.

Angwo said that the constitutional bench has explained that not only the party but also individual parliamentarians can withdraw their support since the government is not permanent. He emphasized that according to the constitution, the province assembly won't be immediately dissolved in Koshi province.

He said, "The provincial assembly won't dissolve until the parliament can form a government." He urged the CM to find a straightforward political solution to the issues causing the minority status.
