KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday inclined marginally by 3.21 points to close at 2,565.16 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,561.94 points and surged to the day’s high at 2,569.99 points in the first three minutes. The index, however, went into a downswing and hit the day’s low at 2,548.29 points in the last one and a half hours. The market recovered around 17 points in the remaining period before closing for the day.

Seven groups were the gainers. Life insurance had its index increased by the largest of 74.02 points. Of the six losers, the development bank index dropped by the largest of 25.19 points.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, decreased 0.19 points. The daily turnover falls pretty low to Rs 3.62 billion from Rs 4.51 billion.
Among the individual companies, 142 were gainers while 102 were recorded as losers. Sahas Urja Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 355.87 million.
Two companies, including Shine Resunga Debenture and Bandipur Cablecar and Tourism Limited, gained the highest of 10 percent. The Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2083 had its market price decrease by 9.39 percent, the highest of all.
