JHAPA, Dec 30: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has vowed to expose the alleged misdeeds in the Giri Bandhu Tea Estate land swap case. Speaking at a program in Jhapa on Monday, Dahal said, "I will expose the misdeeds in the Giri Bandhu Tea Estate scam" linked to CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

Dahal further said that he would also uncover other cases. He urged the public to bring the Maoist Center back to power, promising that such a move would lead to good governance, prosperity, and economic development.
In another statement, Dahal claimed that the previous government was ousted to protect the corrupt, and emphasized that actions against corrupt individuals were a major factor in its downfall. Dahal made the remarks during a visit to Oli’s home district, Jhapa, where tensions over the tea estate issue still persist.
