At the event, there were discussions about the latest developments as well as new dimensions of information, communication and networking in Nepal and the rest of the world.[break]
The chief guest at the event was the Chairman of Nepal Telecommunication Institute, Bhesh Raj Kadel, and representatives from various Internet service providers (ISPs) in Nepal.
In his welcome speech, Principal Naresh Prasad Dhungel of Prime College stressed upon the values and importance of Cisco Certified Program in Nepal.
Along with the development of technology, Cisco has also included a course in networking in the final semesters of Bachelor of Management and Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology.
At present, Cisco Certified Program is operating in seven colleges in Nepal. Students are operating Cisco Certified Network Associate, Professional and Expert level programs related to networking.
Cisco has not only been providing Nepal with networking accessories but has also been distributing them in the international market.
People who have theoretical information related to computer networking and information management can get practical information if they undertake Cisco Certified Program. Job placements are also easier for students of Cisco Certified Program.
Ram Krishna Pariyar, Cisco Instructor and Quality Assurance at Prime College, said, “Since this is an internationally recognized course, it’s easier for students to get good jobs. Presentations were also conducted on subjects like Academy Evolution, Technology Evolution and Introduction to Cisco NetSpace and Instructor Profession Development.
