Chandra Singh Saud appointed Nepse GM

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The government has appointed Chandra Singh Saud as the general manager of Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse).


The meeting of the council of ministers held on Monday decided to appoint Saud as the general manager of the state-owned stock exchange company.

He has been appointed for a period of four years to lead the country's only stock exchange company.


A committee formed by the Ministry of Finance had nominated three candidates along with Saud after short-listing five candidates.


The three names were forwarded to the cabinet for selection to the post of general manager.

Pramod Raj Sharma and Manoj Kumar Gyawali were the other two candidates whose names were forwarded to the cabinet meeting.
