KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The aroma of ‘chaku’ has filled the air in various alleys and intersections of Tokha. Anyone visiting Tokha is sure to be mesmerized by the sweet scent in the air.
With the ‘Maghe Sankranti’ right around the corner, many workshops operate to prepare ‘Chaku’ to cover its demand in the market for the festival. ‘Maghe Sankranti’ is observed every year on the first day of Magh of the Nepali calendar.
