Unidentified thieves broke into the shops owned by Prakash Shrestha, Durgamani Shrestha, Balkumar Shrestha, Tej Kumar Shrestha, Shankar Puri and Rai Kanchha and decamped with clothes, Rs 50,000 cash, packets of cigarets, drinks, among others.
Earlier, six months ago, richarge cards worth Rs 20,000 and Rs 24, 000 cash from Manakaji Shrestha and Ganga Shrestha's house had been stolen respectively.
Police are launching a manhunt to nab the theives and investigating into the case.
