Police said the thieves smashed the padlock of the door and sneaked into the unattended room based in Narephant Yugmarga, KMC-35.
Victim Silwal originally comes from Phunglingkatti VDC-6 of Sindhupalchok.
Police are carrying out a search operation to nab the culprits.
An investigation is underway, said police.
